I am going to publish a book of poetry & polaroids.

This DA account was crafted toward that goal.  So, mostly what you will find here will be poetry...and polaroids.

The poetry is real.   Every word has been thought about.

The polaroids are not real.  They too have been carefully thought about as well.  

I am an an avid photographer.  I shoot everything.  Photography is wood for me.  Or, more to the point, its energy is an earth energy...a wood-type energy.  It is grounding.  Makes me feel connected.  It is fuel for the furnace of my life.

Though, the majority of my photos do not readily fall into the normal category of what I call my art.  So, they have migrated to the corners of hard drives and are no more than lines on a data disc, stuffed in a bin.

Polaroids are intimate.  Personal.  There is something unique and strangely attractive about Polaroids.  I love them.  Though, I do not normally shoot using a polaroid camera.  But, I have selected just over a thousand photos and graphix from different parts and places in my life and I have begun to turn them into polaroids with the magical fun of Photoshop, utilizing the actions created by, as a starting point.

So, as I said before.  The poetry is unreal and the polaroids are real.  Or, was it viceversa?  I'm not sure.  'Cause as you know...it's all ones and zeros in the computer realm.
